Wade Matterson leads Milliman's Australian practice, specialising in product development, risk management and retirement savings issues. He has over 15 years international consulting and advisory experience throughout Asia, Europe and North America.
Since establishing Milliman's Sydney office, Matterson has worked with a variety of Australian wealth management institutions and superannuation funds on product development and risk management initiatives. Prior to his current role, he was based in London where he worked on similar projects throughout Europe and North America. In particular, he has been involved in the development and implementation of products and strategies designed to manage the exposure of individuals to investment and longevity risk.
Matterson is a Fellow of the institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA), and holds a bachelor of Mathematics.
